Our Services

Our services offer schools, local authorities and commissioners tailored solutions to improve outcomes for children & young people and the children's workforce.

1-2-1 Youth Engagement (Mentoring)

Our 1-2-1 Youth Engagement programme provides targetted support for young people known to but disengaged from statutory services (Youth Offending Service, Police, Social Care etc). We provide mentoring to those involved in or at risk of criminality, anti-social behaviour, poor mental health, substance misuse, at risk of child sexual or child criminal exploitation, and those with complex needs.

This intervention is underpinned by our ability to engage young people considered 'hard to reach' or disaffected through relationship building, positive role modelling and building trust and confidence to support them to overcome barriers to engage in mainstream services.

Alternative Education

Our alternative education support is available to commission by schools, and inclusion or behaviour partnerships. Aimed at supporting pupils to build skills and strategies to positively engage in education and achieve academically, we offer both one-to-one and group based interventions.

Our one-to-one therapeutic intervention supports young people identified as having low attendance, low motivation, presenting with challenging behaviours or at risk of exclusion to develop new skills, confidence and coping strategies to lead them towards positive change. Tools utilised include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotional Freedom Therapy, Mindfulness, Relaxation and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Activities undertaken with young people are bespoke to their interests and learning needs.

Our group work offer supports pupils to develop psycho-education and understanding around a range of issues affecting young people's wellbeing. This includes; ASB & criminality, child exploitation, mental health & wellbeing, online safety, drugs & alcohol, healthy relationships, sexual health, hate crime, equality & diversity, independent living skills etc.

Our alternative education interventions can be completed in schools, at our base in Loughborough or in the community.
